Hello and Welcome!
The Coastal Ct. Chapter of ASHI would like to take this opportunity
to welcome you to our web site and invite those of you who
are inspectors or considering becoming an inspector to spend
some time on this page and find out a little about us and
how we can help you move forward in your career and help you
to grow your business.
A little bit about us... The Coastal Ct Chapter of ASHI serves
quite a bit of the Southern part of the state with our sister
chapter the Southern New England Chapter www.snecashi.org
serving the Northern reaches
Our Chapter was formed several years ago to provide a local
meeting place for inspectors looking for educational and training
experiences as well as the continued camaraderie of having
dinner with others in the same profession on a monthly basis
and sharing common goals.
Our meetings are open to all and we encourage you to visit
with us and take advantage of our monthly training and lecturers.
Each meeting we offer experts in their field speaking about
subjects that are important updates from the field. Often
new products, pending legislation and opportunities are discussed
of importance to us all.
Joining a Chapter is the first step toward being part of
a larger entity and history has shown especially with special
interest groups and legislators that being a part of a group
of Professional Home Inspectors (ASHI) with 30 years of reputation,
ethical and professional history is important.
Having said that we want you to experience us before you
do anything. Come visit a meeting or three! Meet the men and
women who belong to our Chapter and develop some friendly
dialogue. Find out who we are, where we work, what we do and
learn how we have all gained by belonging to ASHI.
We meet monthly at the Westport VFW Lodge 465 Riverside Avenue Westport, CT
We meet on the 3rd Thursday of the month . Check our scheduel at the Coastal ASHI Meeting & News page.
Our meeting are casual dress. We usually have a brief cocktail
period at the bar and then join us for dinner or not as you
desire. The dinner is excellent and gives you a chance to
meet, sit and chat with other inspectors. After dinner we
usually have a short announcement and business meeting and
then we have a featured speaker.
Meetings typically run from 6:30 till about 9pm. Continuing
education credits that meet both ASHI Membership Renewal Credits
and State Continuing Education Credits.
Special Meetings and Educational Trips and Special activities
happen from time to time as well as some social activities
that are just for fun.If the Chapter meets your needs we encourage
you to participate by joining us and our National Organization
www.ashi.org of over 6800
inspectors Nationwide and in Canada.
Joining ASHI can be the most meaningful part of your career
and we urge you to grow your business in a cooperative manner
by participating with us monthly and taking part in National
Conferences and educational sessions.
